Film producers, Jessica Mockett and Nathan Lee are passionate about God’s purity. They are producing a feature film that gives the temperature of where our culture is with pornography.
Show 49: New Movie – The Heart of the Matter
Jessica Mockett is a a video producer/director by trade. She graduated from BYU in 2002 with a BFA in Acting. She switched from acting to producing over 7 years ago. In that time, she has worked in broadcast cable tv, animation, documentary, web/promotional, corporate video, commercials, and even a few indie music videos and short films. Clients include Microsoft, Xbox, SA Lifeline, Utah Shakespeare Festival, and BYUtv. This project is Jessica’s first independent feature. She lives in the Atlanta area with her two furry kitty babies – Gigi and Prim.
Nathan D. Lee is an Emmy® award winning filmmaker who has worked in both live theater and film & television for over a decade. While in Hollywood, Nathan worked on a range of independent, studio and TV movies where he learned the craft of filmmaking. He went on to earn his Bachelors of Arts degree from Brigham Young University where he directed and co-wrote his widely acclaimed short film, Inspector 42, which was honored with a student Emmy® from the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences Foundation and a regional award from the Academy of Motion Pictures Arts & Sciences (Oscars®). After graduating, Nathan wrote and directed the the documentary, Larry Gelwix: No Regrets which last year won an Emmy® for Cultural Documentary in 2012. He has directed two television pilots and recently produced the WWII film Resistance Movement which was released in April 2013. In addition to producing and directing, Nathan has written, optioned, and sold several feature length screenplays. Nathan and his wife Tara have three beautiful children.
